When I left to go to school at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago seven years ago, the thought of being a cross-cultural missionary never crossed my mind. But it was there that God started exposing me to the spiritual condition of Europe, and particularly burdened my heart for Eastern Europe. In March of 2009, I had the opportunity to go to the Czech Republic with Josiah Venture through a class at school. In the summer of 2011, I got to serve with Josiah Venture again, but this time as an intern in Croatia for three months. By the time the summer was over, I was certain that God was calling me to Eastern Europe. Since then, I have been accepted by Josiah Venture to serve as a full-time missionary, committing to serve for two years in Slovenia.
